Hey! I actually got transferred this last week, and I´m in Jojutla, Morelos. My companion struggles with obedience, or so I´m told. They told me to watch him and make sure he doesn´t do anything stupid. His name´s Elder Vargas. He´s a little lazy. I think a lot of the Mexican elders here are kinda like that. They stay at members houses FOREVER eating and doing pointless stuff. So I´m kinda on the baby-sitter job right now! He´s really nice and really cool, just a little proud and he´s got a lazy bone.
Jojutla reminds me a lot of Arizona, the trees and climate and everything. I like it a lot. My area is huge! I had kind of a hard week this past week. Just not knowing what was going to happen, switching to a Mexican companion, and moving to a completely different area was kind of scary. I also got sick, and for the past few days I haven´t been able to talk hardly. My throat is a little weird and I´ve got a lot of mucus.
Yeah I´m gonna have to work in this place with obedience. We had a baptism the first couple days I was there, and the man that was baptized had gone to the church once, and had never read in the Book of Mormon. Who knows if he was ever taught all the lessons. That´s the problem here is that there´s so much inactivity, probably because the Mexican elders are just looking for easy ways to baptize people, and don´t do what they´ve been told to do. I don´t know why it´s so hard to just be obedient, no matter who you are. I´m doing good. Tell Alyssa hi and congratulations. I´m glad she´s happy. Give Braeden a big hug and and Caralynn too. I don´t know the other little kids but give them the same. Tell Adam congrats too. Thanks mom and dad, I love you
