Hey Dad! Thanks for the e-mail! I´m glad you guys are having fun in Pinetop. How´s Nana and Papa? Mom said Papa is having a hard time remembering and just being healthy. I hope everything´s okay.
We had a baptism of a little girl named Karla. She is a special little girl. She is really intelligent and always has that look of wide eyed innocence. I´ve been thinking about the purpose of life a little bit, about us having joy as the ultimate goal. To have this full joy on this earth we need to become like little children, submitting to all that Heavenly Father wants us to, be believing , and just be optimistic. The purpose of life is to return to that childlike state of innocence, purity, optimism, love and joy. That feeling of light-heartedness and happiness. I was reading in the scriptures about how the Spirit "enlightens" the mind. I like that word, because sometimes it feels like light is coming into the mind, but at the same time, our minds are enlightened in the sense that we feel light, as in weight. Our worries don´t seems so heavy.
How´s work? How´s everything going this week? When is Alyssa planning on getting married? I hope she´s happy and doing well. It sounds like Dallin and Sterling are doing well too. I wrote them last week, I´m not sure if they got it or not!
